CORE MISSION & NEED
A bed is a basic essential for a child's physical, emotional, and mental development
All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to call their own, lay their heads and dream
Approximately 2-3 percent of children in our communities don't have their own bed
The impact of bedlessness affects a child's:
School performance and attendance
Physical health and growth
Emotional well-being
Self-esteem and dignity
Family dynamics
Social development
ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND
Founded in 2012 in an Idaho garage by neighbors helping neighbors
Grown to 350+ active chapters across nearly every state
Now serving four countries: Canada, Bermuda and the Bahamas, and expanding
Earned GuideStar's highest transparency rating
100% volunteer-driven organization
95 cents of every dollar donated goes to building and delivering beds for children in need

Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Started Dec. 2024
Public Access started in April 2025, since April we have received applications for over 130 beds.
40 beds built this year/since founding
Over 60 local volunteers engaged
Service area is Anna, Melissa and Celina for our chapter.
Corporate partners/local businesses/community partners engaged already are HEB, Texas Roadhouse, United Methodist Church and Neighborhood Credit Union.
